Hadïh So'endzin! Hello, how are you? Welcome!

I’m Michelle Buchholz. I work with clients in an authentic way, which speaks to my own Indigenous ways of knowing and being. My work is guided by my lived experience as an Indigenous woman and my experience in academic, government, and grassroots working environments.

I am a policy analyst, evaluator, qualitative researcher, facilitator, and Indigenous engagement specialist.

As a visual practitioner, I work with clients on a wide variety of projects that are related to graphic recording, graphic facilitation, illustration, info-graphics, and visual policy analysis.

Visual Policy Analysis is a methodology that Michelle developed, which incorporates visual practices within public policy analysis processes.

My practice focuses on abundance and authenticity:

If you would like to collaborate, please contact me. To begin, I will state my standard rates and after relational conversations about our work and our values, I aim to locate an arrangement that works for both of us!

I work towards decolonizing graphic recording and to challenge common practices in business, which place Indigenous people at a disadvantage. My rates reflect my experience and my knowledge and I hope to be welcomed into a space where it is valued and understood that Indigenous peoples often relive colonial trauma within spaces where we work.

I take pride in my work with communities and organizations!
